What's included

From messy exports to a defensible number

  • Wallet & exchange reconciliation — CEX exports, on-chain addresses, hardware wallets, all matched up
  • Cost basis — computed with a consistent, documented method and applied across the whole year
  • Disposals & capital gains — trades, swaps, spends and crypto-to-crypto events identified and priced
  • Staking, lending & rewards — income events valued at the right moment, not at year end
  • Airdrops & forks — classified and valued, with the reasoning written down
  • DeFi & LP positions — liquidity, farming and wrapping events untangled
  • Transfers between your own wallets — correctly excluded, so you aren't taxed on moving your own coins
  • Missing-data repair — dead exchanges, lost CSVs and gaps reconstructed from chain data where possible

Questions & Answers

I've lost access to an old exchange. Now what?
We reconstruct as much as possible from on-chain data, bank records and any surviving statements, and document the assumptions used for anything that has to be estimated. That documentation is what makes the number defensible.
How many transactions can you handle?
High volume is fine — it affects the quote, not whether we take it. Tell us the rough count on the consultation call and we'll price it.
Do you use tax software or do it by hand?
Both. Software does the bulk reconciliation; an advisor reviews the edge cases, which is where automated tools usually go wrong on mining and DeFi.
Can you combine this with my mining income?
Yes — that's the normal case. See Mining Tax, or take the full return and we handle both together.
