Start a verification
Tell us the network, the asset and the period you need covered, and we will tell you whether we can examine it. You are not ordering anything on this page.
- We never ask for a seed phrase, a private key or exchange logins
- No wallet address needed yet — the network and the period are enough
- We reply within one business day, and we say no when the answer is no
- Nothing is charged at this stage
Already know what you need? Say so in the message and we will go straight to the order. If your case is unusual, describe it — an honest no on day one costs you nothing.
What each level costs. Prices are final and include tax.
Balance and full history for one address. The certificate states PROOF OF CONTROL: NOT REQUESTED.
Adds documented proof that the wallet is yours, recorded as PASSED. The level banks, exchanges and accountants expect.
Adds identity documents examined against the originals and a live video call. The certificate names the person.
What happens next
Five steps, and you can stop at any of the first two without paying anything.
We read it and answer
Within one business day, with a straight yes or no about whether the chain and the period can be examined.
You order the level
Only once we have said yes. The wallet address is needed at this point, not before.
You prove control
We send a phrase to sign in your own wallet, or the exact amount and window for a micro-transaction. Two minutes.
We examine the chain
Two to three business days from the point we have the address and your completed control check — not from payment.
You receive the certificate
A signed, stamped PDF with a unique number and a verification reference the recipient can check without going through you.
Four things that stop this working
These cause almost every refund. Reading them now is cheaper for both of us than refunding later.
Your coins are on an exchange
In a custodial account the exchange holds the keys and the deposit address is theirs, not yours. There is nothing on the chain that ties it to you. Ask the exchange for a statement instead.
You mined the coins
Mining income generally arises on receipt at that day's market value. We can evidence the balance and the arrivals, but not that value — so on its own this is usually not what a tax adviser needs. Tell us before you order.
You cannot sign or send from the wallet
Proof of control needs either a signed message or a micro-transaction sent from the wallet itself. Without one of them we can still document the address, but the certificate will read PROOF OF CONTROL: NOT REQUESTED — which is a weaker document in front of a bank.
Your assets are on a privacy chain
We do not verify privacy coins such as Monero, or shielded Zcash addresses. Those chains hide balances at protocol level by design, so no analysis produces evidence from them. This one is not negotiable and we would rather say it here.
What we ask for, and what we never ask for
This is the shortest way to tell a verification service from a theft. Anyone asking for anything in the left-hand column is not verifying you.
We will never ask for
- Your seed phrase or recovery words
- Your private key
- A wallet file or keystore
- Exchange logins or API keys
- Remote access to your computer
- A transfer of your funds to OneMiners
What we do ask for
- The blockchain network and the asset
- The wallet address — after you have ordered, not before
- The period you need covered
- A short phrase signed inside your own wallet, or a micro-transaction you send yourself
- On Verified Identity only: identity documents and a live video call
- Who the certificate is going to, so we word it usefully
