The order is placed in London and the machine never comes near the customer's home. It is delivered to the Houston site that will run it.
Your miner leaves OneMiners' Shenzhen warehouse, packed in sealed, double-layer packaging, marked Fragile, insured, and flown by DHL Express, UPS, FedEx or TNT with its own tracking number.
Shipping is DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) by default. US import tax is usually 21%. Through OneMiners, Houston miners pay 1%. The truck makes the last leg to the site.
Machines arrive at Houston on pallets and go straight onto the floor. The truck reverses to the dock and a forklift lifts the pallet out of the trailer.
The pallet is set down in the intake area, among walls of boxed miners, and your unit comes out of its box onto a scissor-lift cart that carries it to the bench.
On the test bench your miner is powered up, checked and given the latest firmware, then connected to your personal dashboard. Testing typically takes about a day. If a new machine fails within its first 48 hours, it is replaced from stock straight away.
Air-cooled units like the S21 Pro go onto the steel shelving in the air room, all fans facing the same way. Hydro units go into the black hydro cabinets or the containers outside, and immersion units into the oil-filled tanks.
Grid power, generated from gas, comes in through the pole transformers and the electrical wall on redundant feeds. Heat from the hydro cabinets is pumped out to the V-shaped dry cooler behind the building, and the immersion tanks have their own coolers. The site has advanced fire suppression.
Your miner joins the pool. Monitoring software runs automated restarts and predictive maintenance. Repairs happen on site or at the continental hubs, and the grounds have 24/7 armed security. If uptime falls below the 95% guarantee, you're compensated for the lost mining time.
An "installed" email takes you to Workers in the app. From Worker detail you can restart, power off, change pool settings, and watch temperatures and fan speeds. Your warranty certificate is issued automatically.
