Is OneMiners Legit? 10 Checks to Run on Any Bitcoin Mining Hosting Company

TrustMining guide5 min read

Ten checks you can run on any Bitcoin mining hosting company, including us, before you send a single dollar.

Michal Beno, CEO of OneMinersBy Michal Beno, CEO, OneMiners29 October 2026
The short answer

Yes. OneMiners is run by Circlehash LLC, a registered US company in Austin, Texas, with a public EIN and D-U-N-S number, a named CEO, real offices and published prices. But don't take our word for it. Below are 10 checks you can run on OneMiners, or on any Bitcoin mining hosting company, before you send a single dollar.

Search for almost any Bitcoin mining company and you will find someone asking whether it is a scam. That is a fair question. Crypto has had real scams, and cloud-mining schemes that promise fixed daily returns have cost people a lot of money. The good news: a genuine hosting business leaves a long paper trail, and most of it takes minutes to check.

We wrote this guide as a checklist you can use on anyone, including us. For each check we show what to look for and how OneMiners answers it, with links so you can verify it yourself.

01

The 10 checks

1

A registered company you can look up

A real business has a legal name, a registration number and an address. Look them up in a government or business registry, not just on the company's own site.

At OneMiners: The operating company is Circlehash LLC, 701 Tillery Street, Austin, Texas 78702. EIN 37-2137955, D-U-N-S 119305631. The contact page links to the US government registry record.

2

Real people with real names

Who runs the company? Anonymous teams are a warning sign.

At OneMiners: The founder and CEO is Michal Beno, who started mining Bitcoin on GPUs in 2013. His profile and the team are on the About page.

3

A history longer than the hype

How long has the business existed, and under what names?

At OneMiners: The business started in 2017 in Czechia as PC Praha, selling mining hardware in Central Europe. It went global as OneMiners in 2023 and launched the full hosting platform in March 2024.

4

Offices you can visit or write to

A physical address you can check on a map, and a way to pay or meet in person.

At OneMiners: Austin (Texas), Brooklyn (New York), Prague (Czechia) and Ajman (UAE). Customers can even pay in person at the Prague office.

5

You own real hardware

This is the big one. With hosting, you buy an actual Bitcoin miner with a serial number. With many cloud-mining schemes, there is no machine at all, just a promise.

At OneMiners: You buy a specific Bitcoin miner from the shop, it is installed at the site you choose, and support works by the miner's serial number.

6

Prices you can check with a calculator

Every rate should be published, and the maths should add up.

At OneMiners: Every site's rate is on the hosting page. Every prepaid rate is the online-ordered rate minus 4%, 12% or 30%, so you can check each one yourself.

7

A warranty in writing, with honest limits

A real warranty explains what it covers and what it does not.

At OneMiners: Bitcoin miners bought from OneMiners carry a 7-year hardware warranty. It covers defects. It does not cover normal wear or consumable parts, and we say so.

8

An uptime guarantee with a number

Vague promises like 'excellent uptime' mean nothing. Look for a figure.

At OneMiners: 95%+ guaranteed uptime; sites average 98%+.

9

You can see and control your miner

You should see live hashrate and status, and be able to act on it.

At OneMiners: The OneMiners app and dashboard show each miner's status, with remote machine access and restarts.

10

No guaranteed returns

Bitcoin mining income depends on the Bitcoin price, network difficulty and electricity. Anyone who guarantees a fixed daily or monthly return is not describing real mining.

At OneMiners: We never promise a return. We publish the costs, show the method, and let you run the numbers in our calculator.

02

Red flags that should stop you

MYTH

A guaranteed daily profit is a sign of a strong company.

FACT

Real mining income moves every day with the Bitcoin price and network difficulty. A fixed, guaranteed return is the classic sign of a scheme.

MYTH

You don't need to know which machine you own.

FACT

With real hosting you own a specific Bitcoin miner. If nobody can tell you its model, its site or its serial number, walk away.

MYTH

Pay now or lose the deal tonight.

FACT

Pressure and countdown timers are sales tricks. A real host will still be there tomorrow.

MYTH

Withdrawals are locked until you invite friends.

FACT

Your mined Bitcoin should be yours to withdraw. Referral-gated withdrawals are a pyramid warning sign.

03

Hosting vs cloud mining: the difference that matters

Two very different products

Hosting (OneMiners) Typical cloud-mining plan
What you buy A specific Bitcoin miner A contract for 'hashrate'
Can you see the machine? Yes: model, site, status Usually not
Who owns the hardware? You The provider, if it exists
Price you pay Miner price + published rate per kWh A package price
Returns promised? No Often a fixed daily figure

General comparison. Some cloud-mining services are honest; the checks above help you tell them apart.

CEO of OneMiners, the global Bitcoin mining hosting and hardware platform with 7-year fixed electricity contracts and a 7-year hardware warranty. He writes about the economics of industrial Bitcoin mining.

Informational only, not financial advice. Electricity rates, miner and container prices were read on oneminers.com on 19 October 2026 and can change; check the live site before you order. Examples assume a miner running 24 hours a day and are not a forecast. Bitcoin mining results depend on BTC price, network difficulty and electricity costs, which change. No return is offered or implied.
